A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to work in a supportive and collaborative school environment near Ravena, NY. This role is tailored for professionals who are passionate about helping students enhance their communication skills and reach their academic potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Solid communication abilities with students, caregivers, and school staff
- Comfortable designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborative team player with a commitment to student development
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and carry out IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Consult regularly with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or interventions
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
