Actuary

Seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Assistant Actuary with ASA License, the full-time position will focus on performing quarterly statutory and PBR valuations for life insurance products, enhancing analytical tools, and collaborating across functional areas, with the option for hybrid or remote work within the U.S.A. Key responsibilities Perform quarterly statutory and PBR valuations, ensuring compliance with valuation controls and producing reserve movement analysis Partner with the Liability Product Owner to complete valuation tasks, ensuring data integrity and model soundness through governance procedures Contribute to VM-20 actuarial assumption setting and testing, collaborating with various teams to support production readiness and cross-functional initiatives Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent required 3-5 years of life insurance valuation experience with hands-on VM-20 statutory valuation required ASA designation required; active pursuit of FSA strongly preferred 1-3 years of Prophet modeling experience; PBR modeling experience strongly preferred Experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI preferred
