Overview
Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date 08/10/2026 for a Weeks-duration travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,804–$2,949 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide RN First Assistant (RNFA) perioperative support, assisting surgeons with exposure, tissue handling, retraction, and hemostasis.
- Scrub in for procedures, maintain sterile technique, and assist with instrument counts and specimen handling.
- Assist with positioning, draping, and maintaining patient safety throughout operative cases.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize workflow and contribute to efficient case progression.
- Adapt to float to the main OR as needed while maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation.

Requirements
- Licensure: Massachusetts RN license required (submission notes indicate MA license required; conditional license noted as acceptable for hire in posting)
- Certifications: CNOR, ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years experience as an RNFA; facility policy allows a minimum of 1 year experience for specialties
- Setting suitability: Ability to work in perioperative / operating room environment, with on-call as needed
- Compliance: COVID-19 vaccination required with current booster (no exemptions); submission requires SSN and DOB
