Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Avecina, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, creating personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Implement diverse treatment programs using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a supportive environment that enhances patient satisfaction and engagement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists and medical staff, to develop comprehensive care approaches focused on improving patient outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based methods in treatment practices, regularly assessing progress and adapting plans as needed to align with patients' evolving health conditions.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge to assist in self-management outside of therapy sessions.
• Meet established utilization targets and contribute to departmental goals, ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of therapeutic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical focus will encompass a variety of patient demographics. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to patients in an accessible manner.
• Proficient in computer and documentation systems necessary for patient record management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional credentials in specialized areas such as manual therapy, women's health, or sports rehabilitation would be advantageous. Experience working in fast-paced rehabilitation environments and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, with additional performance-based incentives that reward exceptional care and operational contributions.
