TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

UNIT: PCU HVU

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience Required: 1.5 years general nursing exp. First time traveler only accepted with 2 years PCU. Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, titratable Cardiac/vasoactive gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine)

Patient Types:
This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg.
Direct admits, ED admits, Post Cath Lab, etc
MI, NSTEMI & STEMI (IABP would go to ICU), CHF, Dysrhythmia management, Pacemaker malfunction, Epicardial pacers
Backup Stroke unit and Medical Overflow
Step down level experience with post cardiac/vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertion
