CRIB ATTENDANT

Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Ensure inventory accuracy and crib support for second shift operations through storing, disbursing, cycle counting, and timely response to customer requests. Monitor and respond to electronic and phone communications, including Code Reds, to support production uptime.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor emails throughout the shift and respond to customer and internal requests in a timely manner.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to/run Code Reds to support urgent production needs.
• Unload delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner that arrive on off shift.
• Retrieve and put away items from D-Dock.
• Put away items designated for warehouse/crib replenishment into proper locations.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required.
• Serve customers at the warehouse window, issuing material and closing out transactions accurately.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and crib area, including regular housekeeping of aisles, racks, docks, and workstations.
• Assist and fill in for other warehouse/crib functions as needed to support plant operations.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation from day-to-day operations (logs, issue tickets, count sheets, etc.).

Work Experience Requirements

• Must have basic math, computer, and communication skills.
• MRO/warehousing and inventory knowledge a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insured by the employer's insurance carrier.
• Trained to drive forklift.

Skills

• Ability to solve problems.
• Must have basic computer skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively, written and oral.
• Prepares and maintains required documentation from day-to-day operations.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1-year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
