Overview We're hiring a Senior Corporate Recruiter to own and drive hiring across the organization, with a primary focus on our Austin/Pflugerville operations. This role is responsible for delivering results across both high-volume hourly hiring and key salaried positions. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You will build pipeline, partner directly with hiring managers, and be accountable for hiring outcomes. In addition to day-to-day recruiting responsibilities, this position contributes to broader workforce planning and recruiting strategy. The Senior Corporate Recruiter is expected to operate with a high level of ownership, maintain strong knowledge of the business, and ensure all hiring practices align with applicable federal and state employment laws. - Visibility and partnership with leadership and hiring managers across the organization
- Own full-cycle recruiting across hourly and salaried roles, from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, timelines, and candidate profiles
- Build and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach
- Proactively source candidates using Boolean search and advanced sourcing techniques; this is not a post-and-wait role
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and company standards
- Manage the offer process, including verbal offers and negotiation when appropriate
- Oversee all pre-employment steps, including background checks, employment verification, testing, and drug screening, in compliance with company policy and applicable laws
- Ensure onboarding and orientation processes are executed effectively and continuously improved
- Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, including staffing agencies and advertising partners
- Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and hiring trends; adjust strategies as needed
- Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and provide feedback to support retention and recruiting effectiveness
- Maintain current knowledge of recruiting tools, market trends, and best practices to continuously improve performance
- May supervise Recruiters and/or Recruiting Coordinators
- Provide guidance, set expectations, and ensure consistent execution of recruiting processes
- Support training and development of team members
- Partner with corporate recruiting leadership to align on strategy and priorities
- Consistently meeting or exceeding hiring targets
- Maintaining a strong, active pipeline across key roles
- Reducing time-to-fill while maintaining candidate quality
- Building effective relationships with hiring managers and leadership
- Delivering a positive, efficient, and compliant candidate experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate recruiting
- Experience recruiting in construction, electrical, or skilled trades environments strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and compliant hiring practices
- Experience working within an ATS or CRM system
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence hiring decisions
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written and verbal information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Visual ability including focus, depth perception, and color recognition
- Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday; hours may vary based on business needs
- Travel may be required, generally not exceeding 25%, including site visits and recruiting events
