This role will play an important part in shaping the next chapter of our combined organization and advancing our shared mission to transform veterinary care.

What You'll Do

1. Triaging
2. Knowledge and ability to recognize medical emergencies and illnesses
3. Assessing patients
4. Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics
5. Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor
6. Basic husbandry and nursing care
7. Monitoring changes in patients and providing compassionate care
8. Taking blood
9. Placing catheters
10. Assisting in and facilitating radiography capture
11. Preparing samples for outside reference labs
12. Running in-house labs
13. Preparing medications
14. Administering medications
15. Additional responsibilities to maintain a hospitable environment

Who You Are

• 1+ years of experience as a LVT in a GP setting
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
• Comfortable with computers and online tools
• Strong enough to lift 50 lbs
• A thoughtful and fearless team player
• A go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled at communicating with clients
• Passionate about pets
