We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our engineering and incoming product processes by performing inspections, analyzing product quality, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for precision, and a strong understanding of quality assurance in a manufacturing or engineering setting. Essential Functions Conduct inspections on in-process components and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Maintain, track and follow calibration process to ensure inspection equipment complies. Assist in developing and maintaining quality control documentation, including inspection procedures, test plans, and work instructions. Work closely with the Engineering and Production teams to identify quality issues, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective actions. Perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Maintain accurate records of test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in compliance with ISO standards and company policies. Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts to ensure all quality standards are met. Assist with training production staff on quality procedures and best practices Job Qualifications & Requirements 1-2 years of experience in a quality technician, quality control, or similar role within manufacturing or engineering. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems is a plus. Experience with data collection and analysis to identify trends and drive improvements. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot defects and process inefficiencies. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Starting pay is $20.00 - $22.00/hour and will vary based on experience and relevant skills/knowledge.
