Finance Consultant
$40 - $50 per hourCentury Group
Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $40 to $50 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:- Schedule and systematize monthly reviews of net asset reconciliations
- Collaborate with the EVP for Finance and Executive Directors to establish and enhance a Project (Chapter & Site) and Grant-based annual budgeting process
- Ensure adequate internal controls over financial reporting
- Coordinate external audits, Single Audit, Form 990, and state solicitation registrations
- Collaborate with the EVP of Finance and ASAS leadership to direct the organization's financial policies
Qualifications:
- CPA and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; MBA preferred
- Audit background in non for profit
- Financial edge software is preferred
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible leadership and hands-on financial, accounting, operational, and analysis experience in a medium-large sized Society or non-profit experience a plus
- Financial Software, including Financial Edge, Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud software affiliate partners, is preferred
- Strong, first-hand knowledge of government grant receivables and invoicing
- Extensive experience with Grant receivables
