Registered Nurse (RN) - LTC

LTC Registered Nurse

Shifts available: 4x12 Variable or 3x12 Variable, Days or Nights. No routine rotation.

Contract length: Traveler's choice — 13 or 26 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Valid Alaska license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Alaska Food Worker Certification (obtained during orientation).
• Preferred: previous charge experience and LTAC experience.
• Skills: LTC experience, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, isolation precautions/PPE.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with varying diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Perform procedures such as wound care and IV hydration as needed.

Compliance / Notes

Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays. Requests for time off must be submitted with initial application.
