Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Endoscopy Experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience in GI/Pulmonary procedures, Starting IVs, Transport, Procedural RN (EGD/COLO/Branch) Description: The Endoscopy Unit has 4 procedure rooms. We care for 30-40 patients per day. The nurse to patient ratio is 2:1 in the post/pre procedure setting. We focus on adult GI and pulmonary patients. The position involves starting IVs and patient transport. The role is for a procedural RN specializing in EGD, colonoscopy, and branching procedures.
