We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a collaborative team in Raleigh, North Carolina in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position is well suited for someone beginning a career in accounting who enjoys supporting internal partners, delivering strong customer service, and building a solid foundation in receivables operations. The role starts with payment processing and cash application work, with opportunities to expand into reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and broader finance responsibilities as you grow. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:

• Record and apply incoming customer payments accurately to maintain current and reliable receivables records.

• Balance daily cash activity and investigate discrepancies to support timely and accurate reporting.

• Assist with commercial collections by communicating professionally with customers and internal teams to resolve outstanding balances.

• Prepare and review billing-related transactions to help ensure invoices and account activity are processed correctly.

• Support sales and other business partners by responding to account questions and helping remove payment-related obstacles.

• Contribute to account reconciliation tasks, including bank-related balancing activities, as experience increases.

• Help with intercompany accounting entries and other general finance support duties as the role develops.

• Maintain a service-oriented approach in every interaction while working closely with an experienced, team-focused accounting group.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Exposure to accounts receivable, cash application, billing, or cash activity is preferred.

• Comfortable working onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina.
