Senior software engineer

Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about software engineering and has a strong background in AI and Java development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must have 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java Development and Java Frameworks
- Experience with design and development using Java Libraries
- Ability to consume and orchestrate RESTful Services for data and model interactions
- Must have experience with AI Technologies
- Ability to integrate AI/ML features into core systems using Java-compatible libraries and microservices
- Prior work experience at Ex-Wells or in a similar industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with optimizing and enhancing existing AI models and code
- Knowledge of internal vector databases and optimizing search results
- Exposure to OpenText (preferred, not mandatory)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, DevOps, and product teams to deliver enterprise applications
- Integrate and operationalize LLMs via REST APIs or on-prem deployments
- Optimize prompts to get the best output from AI models
