Dining Room Manager

Job Description The Dining Room Manager oversees the entire restaurant operations. This includes overseeing & assisting the bartenders, servers & take out persons & ensuring that our guests experience the best we have to offer at all times & everything flows smoothly & professionally. You will greet & seat guests & describe the nightly specials to every table in delicious detail recommending specific dishes, cocktails, desserts etc. You are responsible for overseeing both opening & closing procedures, completing all sales reports as well as other end of shift duties. This is approximtely a 30 - 35 hour / week position w/ ocassinally going to 40 hours. The potential exists to also work a bartending or serving shift to ensure consistent full time hours if desired. Job Requirements Very energetic & outgoing personality with two years minimum restaurant management experience and excellent references to substantiate it along with solid food & beverage knowledge. Reliable transportation, punctuality, proper grooming & attire are all a must. This position requires availablity for a few lunch (11 am - 4 pm.) & dinner shifts (4 pm. - close typically around 10:30 - 11 pm.) No late nights required!!
