Inventory Control SpecialistThe Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, visibility, and efficiency of inventory across company-controlled and external environments. This role partners closely with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to maintain reliable inventory systems, resolve discrepancies, and support seamless order fulfillment and installation timelines. Here, you'll find a place where your ideas are heard, your contributions are valued, and your career can thrive.ResponsibilitiesInventory Management & AccuracyMaintain accurate inventory records using inventory systems and tracking technologiesConduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data integrityReconcile discrepancies and investigate root causes to prevent recurrenceInventory Movement & Logistics CoordinationCoordinate inventory transfers across internal and external locationsTrack shipping activity and manage the movement of materials to customersSupport order fulfillment by ensuring inventory availability aligns with operational and installation needsAnalysis & Problem ResolutionInvestigate inventory variances in partnership with supply chain, purchasing, and operations teamsAnalyze inventory trends, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actionsSupport timely resolution of inventory issues to minimize disruption to business operationsReporting & Continuous ImprovementPrepare and maintain inventory reports and performance metricsIdentify opportunities to improve inventory processes, controls, and system utilizationAssist in developing and refining inventory control policies and best practicesOperational Excellence & CollaborationEnsure inventory is properly labeled, stored, and organized to support efficiency and accuracyCollaborate cross-functionally to support operational priorities and customer needsMaintain strong attention to detail to support compliance and operational reliabilityCompliance & Organizational ExpectationsComplete all required training within established timeframesMaintain regular attendance and meet role expectationsPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsEducationAssociate or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperienceThree (3) to five (5) years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations, or logisticsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of inventory management systems and controlsProven ability to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepanciesExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms preferredFamiliarity with barcoding and RFID tracking technologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skills across functionsDemonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to operational excellenceAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAt VytlOne we offer a diverse and inclusive work culture that supports a flexible work model in a collaborative, innovative team-oriented environment.
