Due to recent promotions and growth, we are expanding our leadership team to support increased production on our 1st and 2nd shift . 

We are looking for experienced SMT Production Supervisors who can provide strong leadership, develop employees, improve processes, and help drive the success of a growing manufacturing operation.

What You'll Do

As a SMT Production Supervisor , you will provide leadership and direction to employees directly and/or through Group Leaders. You will coordinate daily activities, manage workflow, support production goals, and ensure employees have the resources and direction needed to be successful.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide daily leadership, direction, coaching, and support to employees in the SMT department.
• Supervise and coordinate departmental activities to meet production and company requirements.
• Assign work and establish procedures to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Regulate workflow to maximize capacity, productivity, and efficiency.
• Train, advise, and counsel employees on work processes, procedures, and company policies.
• Promote a culture of individual responsibility, quality, and strong workmanship.
• Monitor departmental performance and track progress toward established objectives.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure projects and assignments are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, including OSHA, SOX, and Management System Standards.
• Support internal and external customers by promoting strong communication, responsiveness, and professional relationships.
• Participate in audits and help ensure compliance with company standards.
• Partner with HR and department leadership on recruiting, interviewing, employee development, discipline, personnel relations, transfers, promotions, and other employee decisions.
• Help develop employees through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality, and team performance.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, accountable, team-oriented work environment.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a confident and collaborative leader who can effectively manage people and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience .
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience .
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage conflict tactfully and professionally.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly regarding product quality and workmanship.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and variables in a production environment.
• Previous project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Experience leading teams in an electronics, electromechanical, or contract manufacturing environment.

Preferred:

• Associate degree in a related field.
