Distribution Center Associate I

Overview

Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders

Using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

Receiving, unloading, sorting, counting, and verifying products

Stocking and replenishing inventory

Checking products and orders for accuracy

Weighing, labeling, and preparing packages for shipment

Adding packaging materials and protective void fill

Staging orders and preparing shipments for carriers

Operating hand pallet jacks and hand trucks

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

Following all warehouse safety procedures

Working with team members to meet productivity and quality goals

Assisting in other warehouse departments as needed

Skills and Experience

Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic computer skills
Ability to learn and use RF scanners and warehouse technology
Strong attention to detail
Basic math skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Dependable and safety-conscious work ethic
