Apartment Maintenance Technician
Berger Communities is hiring a Service Technician for Vairo Village and Pennwood Apartments in State College, PA. Our Maintenance Technicians do more than just fix things, they help make our communities feel like home.

Pay & Benefits
- $20–$23/hour , paid biweekly, plus:
- Monthly renewal bonus

- $140/week on-call bonus

Location: State College, PA.
Type: Full-time
Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This position also participates in an on-call rotation one day per week and every fifth weekend.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our apartment community running smoothly. That means:
- Handling service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings
- Getting empty homes move-in ready
- Keeping the grounds, amenities, and common areas looking great
- Doing preventive maintenance and inspections
- Jumping in on snow removal and sharing on-call shifts
- Creating a great resident experience with friendly, professional service
