CNC Programmer

CNC Setup / Programmer – Aluminum The CNC programmer utilizes CAD/CAM software to develop programs to control contour‑path machining of aluminum parts on CNC mill and lathe centers. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting design specifications, adjusting machine cutting paths, performing quality checks on the final product, troubleshooting issues during manufacturing, and ensuring conformance to established procedures and engineering specifications. Attention to detail and a self‑confident approach are essential. Qualifications – Minimum High school diploma or equivalent. High competence in CNC machines, tooling and programming. Five years of CNC set‑up and programming experience. Proficiency with programming software (MasterCam) and CAD (SolidWorks). In‑depth knowledge of CNC safety practices and use of personal protective equipment. Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word. Strong knowledge of G+M codes. Experience with GD&T. Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications MasterCam certification. Vericut and AutoCAD experience. Spanish language proficiency. Good understanding of trigonometry.
