Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of RN experience required, travel experience strongly required License: TX license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required prior to starting Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as assigned. Previous charge experience is preferred. Charting system experience preferred, Cerner experience is a plus. Description: The role involves providing care to patients on a Med/Surg/Tele unit. Nurse-to-patient ratios can be up to 6:1. Candidates must be flexible regarding unit assignments and scheduling. Nurses are expected to adhere to facility policies and guidelines. All selected candidates must complete required documentation before the start date. Medical/religious exemptions and declinations are allowed for flu vaccine. This position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork. Additional responsibilities may include participation in patient education and discharge planning. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
