Job Overview Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are integral members of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. As ambassadors, they create energy and excitement around our products and services and build and deepen relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. Key Responsibilities Proactively engage a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment. Use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions. Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process. Identify customer needs and employ solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless solutions and onboarding solutions that help customers self‑serve and utilize the T‑Mobile app. Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products and processes. Review personal results, current promotions, and Hub updates to stay customer ready at all times. Continuously learn and improve skills to provide the best possible customer experience. Partner with nearby store locations to properly onboard customers. Practice skills, share knowledge, and conduct store operations including opening and closing procedures. Carry keys to kiosk cabinets, lock/secure kiosk and assets, and report lost keys or assets to the manager. Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity. Follow up with customers, capture referrals, manage “Be Back” processes, and build relationships. Perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail. Collaborate with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Required). Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience. Retail experience preferred (Preferred). Legal authorization to work in the United States. At least 18 years of age. Travel not required. Must have strong coaching, communication, consultative selling, customer communications, customer education, customer engagement, customer needs identification, customer referrals, customer satisfaction management, customer service, leadership, product knowledge, relationship building, sales, sales prospecting, and sales techniques skills (Required). Compensation & Benefits Hourly base pay: $18.00 plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for training pay. After completion, promotion to Mobile Expert role and eligibility for an annual incentive target of $18,000 per year. All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20.00 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
