Financial Accountant II

Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky - On-site Industry: Manufacturing Company Summary: We are currently partnered a long‑established, North American manufacturing organization with multiple facilities across the U.S. and Canada. The company produces high‑quality industrial and consumer products used by a wide range of commercial customers. They are seeking a Financial Accountant II to take a key operational accounting role within one of the company's U.S. manufacturing plants. This is a high‑visibility opportunity to support plant leadership, strengthen financial processes, and drive operational discipline in a fast‑paced production environment. Manage month‑end/quarter‑end close, financial reporting, audits, and tax filings. Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, standard costs, and variance analysis. Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for plant leadership. Review capital projects, fixed‑asset accounting, and related financial controls. Ensure accurate payroll accounting, reconciliations, and period‑end entries. Maintain GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate across plant functions while supporting the Controller. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required. MBA or CPA is a plus. 5-8 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
