Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician
Location: Lake Nona, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 6:30AM - 4:30PM
Job Description: The Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician is responsible for providing high-quality care in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures under the supervision of qualified medical staff. The technician will work alongside a team to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, as well as maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for the lab's operation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare and maintain equipment in the catheterization lab.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide support to patients and their families throughout the process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Technical certification in cardiac catheterization or related field.
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
