EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Physical Therapist Assistant Associates degree from an accredited institution Current Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant licensure EXPERIENCE Orthopedic Experience Preferred SKILLS Strong customer relations experience required. Team player willing to assist in meeting organizational goals. Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach to others. High level of professionalism and confidentiality, in compliance with HIPAA standards. Exemplary critical thinking skills and problem‑solving skills required; ability to work independently as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. NATURE OF WORK Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides skilled physical therapy to patients from pediatric to geriatric. A qualified candidate must possess acute orthopedic inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation experience and be able to treat across multiple facets from home health, skilled/long term care, acute care and out-patient. The candidate must utilize effective and professional communication skills and thorough documentation and be able to work in a fast-paced setting. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on strong critical thinking is a must to provide optimal patient centered care.
