About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: GI Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday, with weekends and week nights on call Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty License: Active RN License Certifications: Required AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty Description: The role is focused on gastrointestinal procedures. Multiple types of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures are performed. Procedures include colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flex sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy. Weekends require call only. The schedule runs from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekday shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts. Additional weekend and weeknight calls are expected within an 8-9 week schedule.
