• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' unique eating disorder symptoms and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s specific needs and set achievable recovery goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Facilitate therapy sessions that challenge and reshape clients' distorted beliefs related to body image, food, and self-worth, fostering a nurturing therapeutic atmosphere.
• Teach clients effective coping strategies and emotional regulation techniques to assist them in overcoming disordered eating behaviors.
• Work collaboratively with a comprehensive treatment team, ensuring that care remains coordinated and holistic, addressing all aspects of clients' health.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, promoting understanding and involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of client interactions, treatment strategies, and progress, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including team meetings and case conferences, to continuously enhance clinical skills and knowledge in the realm of eating disorder treatment.

In this role, you will primarily support clients battling various eating disorders, a population requiring specialized understanding and empathetic care. You will assist individuals who are navigating the challenges of these conditions, which often exist alongside other mental health disorders. Your therapeutic engagement will play a critical role in disrupting harmful patterns and fostering healthier relationships with food and body image, ultimately guiding clients toward recovery.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapies specifically tailored for eating disorder treatment, particularly CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Deep knowledge of the intricacies related to eating disorders and the psychological support required for clients facing these challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly with clients and their families.

• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly in eating disorder treatment settings.
