MMD Redwood is looking for ambitious and passionate cannabis enthusiasts for our newest location in Redwood City, CA. We have been established since 2006 and are 100% Legal and Compliant . We are looking for friendly faces that will help open and grow our soon to be open newest location. At MMD Redwood City you will be expected to perform the following duties: servicing clientele, balancing inventory, organizing showroom displays, pricing products, and other general store upkeep. We expect our staff to be able to provide a wide variety of cannabis knowledge to our growing customer base, but we are happy to teach you everything you need to know. Job Type Full Time starting at 35 hours. Salary $21.00 /hour + Tips (Avg additional $6/hr). Benefits Health benefits with choice of plans, employee discount, and trade samples. This position requires open availability, including holidays, weekends, and nights. Position will be full-time. Shift Lead Position Overview Responsible for assisting the store management team with store operations, interacting with customers to problem solve issues, assisting in sales process, ensuring an outstanding customer experience and daily task execution. Primary Responsibilities Execute floor leadership - own the sale floor, greet all customers, in a professional, friendly manner Deploy staff, coordinate breaks, count down cash drawers Coach and develop employees in assessing customer needs Stocking shelves, setting up displays, ringing up merchandise Assist with inventory counts as needed Maintain merchandise and visual plan according to company policies Provide constructive feedback and assist staff to solve customers’ complaints Ensure all employees are properly trained according to company policies and procedures Communicate to management any situations that put our customers or employees at risk physically or emotionally Ensure the store is well maintained, stocked, and clean at all times Possess adequate product knowledge to assist customers in making purchasing decisions Ensure that Health, Safety, Operations, and security policies are being followed at all times Cash Handling Ability to adapt to change Ability to work in a fast pace environment Open/close store Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds MUST be 21+ MUST be reliable MUST be available weekends and holidays.
