Job Description & Requirements Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Denver, Colorado. The role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards. Position Details Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour days) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and address questions as they arise. Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment, reporting malfunctions and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients according to established protocols and safety standards. Monitor patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs or other administered medications, intervening as necessary to ensure safety. Operate medical imaging equipment to create images of organs or areas of the body according to physician orders. Document procedure details in patient records to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance. Follow hospital safety rules and policies and radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure to radioactive materials. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Nuclear Medicine Technologist practice. Required Qualifications One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). Additional certifications and licenses may improve candidacy. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills. Physical abilities: remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate professionalism. Technical skills: perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures and equipment. Mental requirements: handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently or under close supervision, and maintain concentration to detail.
