Requirements
- NH license and certification to practice nuclear medicine required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
- 1 year experience preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals orally, by injection, or by inhalation to patients undergoing scans for diagnostic purposes.
- Explain the imaging procedure to patients and ensure their comfort while positioning them for scanning.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as SPECT/CT scanners, and produce computer-generated images for interpretation by physicians.
- Process images and keep detailed records of the amount and type of radiopharmaceutical used and of the procedure.
- Follow safety procedures to protect staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Maintain current knowledge of advancements in the field of nuclear medicine.

Compliance / Notes
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- The organization has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
