Overview Registered Nurse – OR. Travel assignment in perioperative care located in Calais, Maine. Start date: 08/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,248 - $2,295 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,248 - $2,295 per week Guaranteed hours: none Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 40 hours per week Start date: 08/28/2026 Setting: Perioperative care in a surgical services environment Travel assignment with opportunities for continuation based on performance Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases Scrub, circulate, and provide recovery room support as needed to support the perioperative team Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other members of the perioperative team; advocate for patient and family needs Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values Document patient status and interventions accurately; ensure patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures Assist with instrument counts, room setup, and turnover to support efficient operations Requirements Current registered nurse licensure in Maine Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for all full-time/part-time employees in PACU (may obtain within 6 months of hire) At least 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative experience Basic computer skills Ability to function effectively in a perioperative setting and to scrub, circulate, and work in recovery as needed CNOR preferred Education Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Licensure: Active Maine RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required for PACU roles (may obtain within 6 months of hire) Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Nationwide assignments Fast credentialing options (where available) Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
