About the Role
Our client, a leading nonprofit health insurance organization, is seeking a Review Coordinator to support its Clinical Optimization team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring prior authorization requests, referrals, and service requests are processed accurately and efficiently to support quality healthcare delivery and positive member experiences.

As a Review Coordinator, you will coordinate and support intake functions related to utilization management and clinical review processes while ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities

• Receive, research, and process prior authorization requests within internal and vendor systems.
• Review and enter member administrative referrals accurately and efficiently.
• Process non-clinical service requests in accordance with established guidelines.
• Contact healthcare providers and internal departments to obtain additional clinical or administrative information needed for review completion.
• Research and resolve provider and member inquiries while maintaining positive professional relationships.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and documentation to support downstream operational processes.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare industry experience in customer service, administrative support, care coordination, health plan operations, or a related field.
• Ability to accurately process and manage high volumes of information in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of prior authorization processes within a health plan or managed care environment.
• Advanced data entry and documentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience researching and resolving complex provider or member inquiries.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy while managing competing priorities.

Remote Work Requirements

• Must maintain a professional and distraction-free remote work environment.
• Internet speed test results are required as part of the application process.
• Minimum internet requirements:
  • Download Speed: 25 Mbps or higher
  • Upload Speed: 5 Mbps or higher
  • Ping: Less than 100 ms
• Candidates should be prepared to provide documentation of internet speed test results during the hiring process.
