Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 15-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the facility's electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Maine or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity emergency care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems commonly used in acute care facilities
• Experience with triage protocols and management of diverse patient populations
