Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room, travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,009-$2,122 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts with on-call/callback, floating, and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. Setting: hospital operating room.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for OR procedures across a wide range of specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
- Assist with transplant cases (livers, kidneys, hearts) and support multi-service use of two DaVinci robotic systems
- Maintain sterile technique, instrument counts, and patient safety throughout surgical cases
- Monitor intraoperative telemetry as needed and coordinate with the surgical team to facilitate efficient case flow
- Provide circulating and scrubbing support during on-call/callback rotations; respond to emergencies per unit needs
- Document intraoperative events, specimen handling, and equipment management to ensure accurate records

Requirements
- NY State RN license (license must be active)
- Minimum 2 years operating room experience; Level 1 trauma experience highly preferred
- Able to scrub and circulate
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Telemetry experience highly desired
