As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the nursing staff and physicians during procedures. Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation of equipment and the smooth execution of complex cases. You will be responsible for setting up procedure rooms, disinfecting and processing endoscopic equipment, and assisting with patient care and transportation.

• Assist nursing staff and physicians during procedures, including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations
• Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
• Set up rooms for procedures and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies
• Assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff
• Apply EKG monitors, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to the start of cases
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Advanced case endoscopy experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Registered with DORA as a CO Surgical Tech (must have card in hand prior to assignment)
• Preferred: SGNA Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program, IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification
