Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - PICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic services for NICU and PICU patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans.
• Utilize high-frequency jet ventilation for critically ill pediatric patients.
• Provide specialized care for pediatric patients with cardiac anomalies.
• Conduct patient assessments and accurately interpret arterial blood gases.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU and pediatric critical care.
• Active NC RRT license; must be in hand prior to starting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
• Experience with high-frequency jet and oscillating ventilators is mandatory.
• Capable of working with neonates to adult patient age groups.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
