Principal Planner & Project Director

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical excellence, team leadership, and business development in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead and oversee CEQA/NEPA documents (EIRs, Initial Studies, etc.)
• Develop and expand relationships with local agencies and key clients
• Manage and mentor a team up to a team of 5
• Support marketing efforts, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality planning and environmental projects

They're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Planning, etc.
• 13+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of the Southern California / Los Angeles market
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships
• Ability to work remotely with some in-person time and local travel for meetings and public outreach

Compensation: $180,000 - $230,000+ (depending on experience, location, and overall fit)
