Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.comIn this role, you will:Develop, retain, and grow highly complex client relationships through the art of relationship management, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers, responding quickly, communicating proactively but strategically, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback; act as a subject matter expert to guide and influence others in growing relationshipsServe as a top subject matter expert, leading highly complex and high-impact solutions related to cash flow, real estate loans, and other industry-specific financial products.Analyze financial statements and data to develop strategic recommendations and present findings to clients.Coordinate with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure seamless execution of client solutions.Build and manage a complex portfolio of Investor Real Estate (IRE) relationships, driving growth and profitability.Navigate high-risk scenarios with sound judgment and strategic insight, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.Influence enterprise-level decisions through deep industry knowledge and financial acumen.Lead the strategy and resolution for full suite of most complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients to meet the most complex and significant needs across multiple areas of the enterprise that may require an in-depth evaluation, vision, and creativity, by engaging product organizations to develop long term, large-scale client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions; may coordinate highly complex activities and resolutionsProvide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Commercial Banking Relationship Management company wide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operationsStrategically lead all levels of professional and managers across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, and represent the company externally as an expert, act as a mentor for less experienced colleaguesDrive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systemsStrategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, by cultivating relationships through existing networksPartner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership, and expertise on client and market needs to enable large-scale companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operationsRequired Qualifications:7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Proven experience in the origination and management of loans across multiple asset classes, including multi-family, industrial, hospitality, retail, self-storage, and office properties.Deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry and local marketsEstablished professional network within Iowa & Nebraska and the surrounding metropolitan areaExpertise in investor real estate loan structures, including documentation negotiation and successful loan closings.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a complex portfolio of Investor Real Estate (IRE) relationships.Strong background in business development, with a track record of successful Investor Real Estate (IRE) relationship management.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management Completion of formal credit training program Commercial banking account relationship management experience within the $100MM to $2B segment Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position offers a hybrid work schedule Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
