Perform duties according to prescribed schedule, Plant Manager Instructions, standardized procedures and written product specifications./ph3Qualifications/h3ulliWilling to work a 2-2-3 schedule with scheduled day/night rotation/liliWork 12 hours shift/liliWilling to lift 30 pounds routinely/liliBasic understanding of machine operations and adjustments/liliGood technical skills some background in a mechanical field/liliGood attendance and work habits/liliGood communication skills/liliEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary./liliCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions./li/ulh3Job Duties/h3ulliPerforms routine operations required to operate and adjust multi-lane bag machines with auto-pak equipment to produce plastic bags from blown tubing./liliWork from specific team leader/supervisor instructions, standard operating procedures and precise product specification sheets in the routine operation and adjustment of multiple bag machines running multiple products./liliPerform set ups and changeovers based upon prescribed procedures and production demand./liliUse a ruler, retractable knives, hook knives and various hand tools./liliOperate pallet jack and forklift as assigned (once qualified)/liliPerform quality tests on finished product to ensure quality of product and conformance to specified tolerances. Areas inspected include length and width, pre-seal location and quality, side seals, perforation or slitting, bundle count and overall appearance./liliAble to produce no more than 5% of defects in a 12-hour shift./liliPerform leak audits according to standardized procedures and perform simple calculations to record results (for consumer bags)/liliMake routine machine adjustments to correct minor deviations from tolerance./liliDiagnose routine problems, detect cause and perform required machine adjustments./liliAble to rotate Teflon cutter as required every three hours/liliDetect and report faulty equipment, unusual conditions and defective material to team leader/supervisor./liliAble to string up conversion line./liliFollow prescribed safety rules and regulations./liliPerform other related duties as assigned./li/ulpInteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
