Working within De Novo , you will collaborate with partners, practice-group leaders, and data engineers to transform bold ideas into real products — tools that make legal work faster, smarter, and more client-centric . Key Responsibilities Architect, build, and deploy LLM-powered applications using platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and LangChain Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines , prompt-management frameworks, and secure APIs Collaborate with practice‑group leaders to develop solutions that enhance matter intake, document automation, and client collaboration Translate legal and operational workflows into clean, maintainable, production‑ready code Partner with IT and Data teams to ensure scalability, governance, privacy, and security Contribute to team standards, documentation, and the evolution of De Novo’s AI engineering culture Mentor peers and help shape best‑practice development patterns Required Qualifications 3+ years of software development experience with strong skills in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or C# Azure AI / OpenAI / AWS Bedrock / Claude APIs Vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or Azure AI Search RAG architectures Prompt engineering & model evaluation Proven ability to integrate AI into enterprise platforms , including Microsoft 365 , NetDocuments , 3E or similar systems .
