You will work on-site in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Redding. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and limitations, using both standardized tests and clinical judgment.
• Design individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address patients' unique needs, goals, and recovery timelines.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary modifications to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to facilitate long-term wellness.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and collaborate on care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals facing a variety of physical challenges, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. By taking a holistic approach to rehabilitation, you will provide not just physical therapy, but emotional support and encouragement to enhance patient engagement and adherence to their rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with patients and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficiency in the use of EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting. New graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship will be provided.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings is a significant advantage, particularly in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with various physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
• Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, Mandarin, or Tagalog, are highly valued and a plus for enhancing patient communication.

Compensation and Benefits
