Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Current, active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting. (Client-specific requirement.) Demonstrated ability to communicate treatment plans and evaluation results to medical teams and specialty providers such as orthopedic and hand surgeons. (Client-specific requirement.) Experience reporting patient progress to in-house or specialty physicians. (Client-specific requirement.) Ability to collaborate with center colleagues to identify clinical issues and provide assistance as needed. (Client-specific requirement.) Preferred: Prior outpatient ortho experience in a Monday through Friday 8-5 model.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Duration: 14 week assignment. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule, Monday through Friday, outpatient orthopedic focus. Positions Available: 1 position. Clinical Focus: Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries and coordinate care with physicians and specialty surgeons.
