Work Environment\nThis position is fully remote, affording you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients through our telehealth platform. Your work hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with the potential requirement for occasional evening or weekend availability to accommodate client schedules. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address the unique needs of geriatric clients. \n
- Facilitate pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, risk assessments, and medication treatment strategies to support client safety and wellness. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. \n
- Utilize evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team to enhance assessment processes. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans catered to each client's needs. \n
- Engage actively in the licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest quality of care within the clinic. \n
- Serve as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate a cohesive care network for clients. \n
- Establish effective communication channels to achieve contract standards and promote the overall mission of Life Healing Behavioral Health Center. \n
- Participate in networking and partnership-building activities with local and state organizations to enhance program visibility and secure funding opportunities. \n
- Pursue continuous professional development by attending relevant conferences, training sessions, and meetings related to geriatric mental health. \n

- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director as needed. \n
This position specifically caters to older adults who may be experiencing complex emotional and psychological issues related to aging, including grief, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping these individuals navigate their challenges, enhancing their quality of life, and enabling them to cope with significant life transitions.

- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Must possess a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential. \n
- A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in geriatric counseling and mental health services is necessary. \n
- Additional training or specialization in geriatric mental health and aging-related issues is highly preferred. \n
