About the Job :
Shriners Children's Northern California is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Pediatric Med/Surg unit . In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and family-centered care in a supportive pediatric environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric medical and surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and overall recovery progress
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with post-operative care and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols

Compensation :

Hourly Rate : $58.80/hr

Shift Duration : 12 hours

Estimated Pay : $705.60 per shift

Experience Needed : PRN (As-needed basis, flexible shifts)

Documents Required :

• Active RN license in California
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Updated Resume
• Professional References (at least two)
• COVID Vaccination Card
