Patient Registration Representative

We are hiring a Patient Registrar in Staten Island !!!!!!!
Shift: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours
⏰ Schedule:
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Wednesday – 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Work Type: Onsite Only
Candidates must currently reside in Staten Island
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
✅ Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum 1 year of clerical experience
• Epic experience required
• Customer service experience
• Data entry speed of 4500 keystrokes
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization
• Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding
• Strong communication, keyboard, and telephone skills
Responsibilities:
• Patient registration and scheduling
• Insurance verification and authorizations
• Maintaining patient records and charts
• Coordinating appointments and medical procedures
• Collecting co-pays and handling financial documentation
• Updating billing codes and patient information
• Assisting patients with payment options and Medicaid eligibility
