Required Skills & Experience: 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, commercial coordination, or strategic sourcing within large-scale construction, industrial, EPC, manufacturing, energy, or project-based environments. Strong understanding of RFQ processes, supplier engagement, commercial evaluations, and sourcing best practices. Experience preparing bid comparisons, commercial evaluations, and award recommendation packages. Experience managing multiple procurement packages and competing priorities in deadline-driven environments. Experience coordinating with engineering teams, suppliers, procurement organizations, and project stakeholders. Ability to evaluate supplier quotations for commercial compliance and completeness. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and document control. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent relevant sourcing experience).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience supporting hyperscale data center, mission-critical, industrial, EPC, or large capital project environments. Experience sourcing electrical, mechanical, construction, or industrial equipment and services. Experience managing procurement packages valued at $100M+. Familiarity with supplier qualification and vendor prequalification processes. Experience using ERP, procurement, or sourcing management systems. Understanding of construction procurement workflows and project delivery schedules. Experience supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier performance programs. Knowledge of contractual terms, commercial negotiations, and procurement governance processes. Experience supporting large capital equipment purchases and long-lead procurement packages.

Job Description: We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support major capital projects by leading sourcing, supplier engagement, commercial evaluations, and award recommendation activities. This individual will own the sourcing process from bid development through supplier selection and award recommendation before handing off awarded packages to Procurement Specialists for purchase order execution and delivery management.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, supplier management experience, and the ability to manage multiple high-value procurement packages simultaneously. This role requires extensive interaction with engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and supplier partners to ensure sourcing decisions align with project priorities, schedules, and commercial objectives.

This person will manage a small number of large, complex packages, often ranging from $100M-$400M in value, along with several smaller ad hoc procurement activities supporting project execution.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Lead sourcing activities for major equipment, construction, and service procurement packages. Develop and issue RFQs to qualified suppliers. Coordinate supplier communications throughout the bidding process. Partner closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and evaluation criteria. Review supplier quotations for completeness, commercial compliance, and alignment with project requirements. Develop bid tabulations, commercial evaluations, and supplier comparison analyses. Prepare award recommendation packages for project leadership and procurement organizations. Manage multiple sourcing packages simultaneously while balancing project priorities and deadlines. Conduct supplier clarification meetings and commercial discussions. Maintain sourcing documentation, bid records, supplier correspondence, and procurement files. Support supplier qualification and sourcing strategy initiatives. Transition awarded packages to Procurement Specialists for purchase order issuance and delivery execution.
