Accounting Specialist

Job Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments Perform account reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Conduct general ledger reconciliation Prepare and post journal entries Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role Must have experience in a medical facility Associate degree in accounting or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation Strong knowledge and experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. A solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to effectively communicate financial information is essential. Pay: $23.53 - $30.00 per hour. Full-time. Expected hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday. Location: Onsite in Lancaster, SC or Kershaw, SC.
