The Lead Gift Shop Clerk works under the supervision of the Gift Shop Manager. Performs clerical and general support duties including but not limited to submitting bills for payment, maintenance of all records and files, and support to the volunteer staff. Interpersonal skills including sensitivity, maturity, and tact necessary to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and volunteers, and the ability to work efficiently with episodic interruptions in work flow.
Work Location: Columbia, MD
Casual Status - days
Two 4 hours shifts per week - either 8:30am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-4:30pm, might occasionally work weekends based on need of the gift shop.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Two (2) - three (3) years of retail and/or customer service experience required.
