Compounding Pharmacist (PRN)

Wisconsin | PRN Contract Opportunity | Flexible Schedule Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Compounding Pharmacist for a contract opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in Wisconsin. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for pharmacists seeking supplemental income, PRN work, or additional weekend coverage opportunities. Position Highlights 13-week contract assignment - possible extensions Approximately 16 hours per week Weekend coverage and PTO coverage responsibilities Additional on-call opportunities available $1,000 retention bonus available after 30 days of employment* Competitive compensation Schedule Two scheduled weekend shifts per month Weekend hours: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Weekday coverage hours may vary based on operational needs Additional on-call responsibilities available during non-business hours Responsibilities Review and dispense prescribed medications Compound medications according to established pharmacy standards Ensure medication safety, accuracy, and compliance Provide patient counseling and medication education Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug-related concerns Maintain pharmacy records and inventory Support pharmacy operations and supervise support staff as needed Qualifications Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required Compounding experience preferred Previous on-call or after-hours pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication and clinical judgment skills Additional Information Client interview required Immediate consideration available for qualified candidates Opportunity to work with an established healthcare organization Why Amergis?
