Seeking: Structural Fitter – 1st Shift

Location: Northeast Houston, TX
Pay: $22.00–$23.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | Based on Experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays | 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Measure, mark, cut, grind, and prepare steel components for fabrication.
• Fit and tack weld materials according to specifications.
• Assemble grating panels, stair treads, frames, and structural components.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure dimensional accuracy within a 1/8" tolerance.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes to safely move materials.
• Work closely with welders, supervisors, and production teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of structural fitting, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience using hand tools, grinders, cutting torches, and measuring equipment.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset.
